This allows the skin to be tanned into an exceptionally thin, fluid canvas that doesn't resist the shirt-like cut, but instead drapes with the weight and grace of heavy silk.

After the wool is shorn to a precise, uniform height, controlled heat is used to "guide" the fleece.
